About Vasant Classic Tea Masala 100g Pack (Chai Masala)
Vasant Classic Tea Masala is a ready spice mix for masala chai, offered here as a single 100g pack. For a lot of Mumbai homes the day starts with a cup of chai, and a spoon of tea masala is the easiest way to get that cutting chai stall taste without crushing whole spices every morning.
A small pinch goes a long way. Add it while the water, milk and tea leaves are boiling so the spices have time to open up, then strain as usual. It works with any tea you normally buy, whether you like a strong dust tea or a lighter leaf tea, and with sugar or jaggery. Some families also add a little to kadha style hot drinks in the monsoon or to a pot of chai made for guests.
