About Vasant Flavour Fusion Combo (5 Packs with Strong Hing)
The Vasant Flavour Fusion Combo pairs two kinds of chilli with the basic powders and a pack of hing. Inside you get Chilli Powder 100G, Kumthi Kashmiri Chilli Powder 100G, Turmeric Powder 100G, Coriander Powder 100G and Strong Hing 25G, a total of 425G.
The fusion here is between heat and colour. Chilli Powder is for spice in dal, sabzi, upma and chutneys. Kumthi Kashmiri Chilli Powder is for the red colour in curries, rajma and pav bhaji when you do not want extra heat, and many cooks mix the two to get both. Turmeric Powder brings the familiar yellow to dal and vegetables. Coriander Powder thickens gravies and balances spicy dishes. Strong Hing is used in very small pinches in hot ghee or oil, especially in dal, kadhi and sambhar.
