The Vasant Kitchen Essentials Combo is the fullest restock in the range. It holds Perfect Chilli Powder 500G, Turmeric Powder 500G, Coriander Cumin Powder 500G, Classic Garam Masala 200G, Classic Tea Masala 100G and Strong Hing 100G. All together that is 1.9 KG of masala.
The three 500G powders handle daily cooking: Perfect Chilli Powder for heat, Turmeric Powder for colour and an earthy base, and Coriander Cumin Powder for Gujarati dal, shaak and kadhi. Classic Garam Masala finishes gravies, chole, rajma and pulao. Strong Hing is added a small pinch at a time to hot oil or ghee for the tadka of dal, kadhi and sambhar. Classic Tea Masala goes into the morning and evening chai, a little added while the tea boils with milk and sugar.

How to use
- Start the tadka with hot oil or ghee and a small pinch of hing
- Add chilli, turmeric and dhana jeeru as the vegetables cook
- Finish gravies with garam masala just before switching off the gas
- Add tea masala while the chai boils
